Affording St. James
St. James is committed to graduating students who use critical thinking skills and problem solving strategies as responsible young adults guided by God’s love.
Tuition Assistance
Thanks to a generous scholarship fund supported by church members, school parents, Empower Illinois funding and the Chicago Lutheran Education Foundation (CLEF) tuition assistance is available for families unable to pay the full tuition. Applications are available online through FACTS Management Company and all inquiries are managed discreetly. Online tuition assistance applications for new students should be submitted with the application for admissions. For returning students applications must be submitted by April 1, 2022. Tuition assistance applications will be considered throughout the year if a family’s situation changes.
2023-2024 Academic Year
Tuition at St. James covers all educational expenses including books, most field education experiences, in-school speakers and use of technology (except the purchase of a chromebook for grades 3-8) in the classroom. Aside from uniforms, there are no additional fees required of our families.
Payment Plans
Tuition payments at St. James are managed by FACTS Management Company. Each family is mailed an Initial Invoice Statement from FACTS that lists total tuition and fee balance due to the school for the upcoming school year. You will also recieve instructions for how to pay tuition in full or enroll in a payment plan online. Please note that each child is invoiced individually requiring that they be enrolled in FACTS separately. Please do not discard your Initial Invoice Statement. No matter which payment option you choose, you will need this statement to make your payment. The invoice number on the statement is required to set-up payment. It is unique to each invoice and can’t be accessed by St. James. The following payment options are available:
